Adult CPR and First Aid

Registration Fee:
Staff working for a Dane County Developmental Disabilities Services Agency: $70 per person. All Other Dane County Contracted Providers: $95 per person, please note: preference is given to agencies providing services to adults with developmental disabilities in Dane county.

Please Note: There is an 8-person minimum to hold the Adult CPR and First Aid training, with a maximum number of 14.

First Aid and CPR training carries a 2-year certification (for more information see the Red Cross Website).

Description:
The course content includes recognizing and caring for breathing and cardiac emergencies for adults and heart disease prevention. This training also includes an overview of first aid. Skills include Adult CPR, controlling bleeding; caring for muscle, bone and joint injuries; treating burns; and responding to shock. Upon successful completion of the course requirements, students will receive Quick Reference Guide and an Adult CPR and First Aid Certificate.
